Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend, turn clocks back one hour
This weekend you get an extra hour of sleep… thanks to the end of Daylight Saving Time.
For most people in the U.S., clocks will be turned back one hour early Sunday morning. This always happens at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in November.
You’ll also notice that the sun will rise earlier in the morning, but will set earlier in the evening.
It’s also a good time to test your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and change their batteries.
Daylight Saving Time is a system to reduce electricity usage by extending daylight hours.
