Craig Romney, Paul Ryan to make Colorado campaign stops this week

LAKEWOOD, Colo. — The youngest of Mitt Romney’s five sons will make stops in Boulder and Denver counties Monday, and the GOP vice presidential candidate is expected to be in Greeley, Castle Rock and Cañon City Tuesday.

Craig Romney will hold early voting events and assist in the effort to call voters and remind them to vote early or return their absentee ballots. Paul Ryan will be rallying the base in more traditionally Republican areas.

Ryan’s first event will take place at 9:50 a.m. at the Island Grove Center in Greeley. His second appearance will take place at the Douglas County Fairgrounds at 1:10 p.m. The vice presidential candidate’s final stop will be at Veterans Park in Cañon City at 4:05 p.m.

Craig will be making his first appearance at 2:15 at his father’s Boulder County campaign headquarters, which is located in Longmont at 619 Ken Pratt Boulevard. Craig’s second stop will take place at 4 p.m. at the GOP headquarters in Denver, located at 110 Cook Street.
