(CNN) – Fox will extend primetime on Oct. 23 to re-air that installment of ”The X Factor” that was pre-empted this week.
New episodes of “Raising Hope,” “Ben and Kate” and “New Girl” will kick off the night, followed by the conclusion of the judge’s round on “The X Factor” from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
On Oct. 17, a portion of the episode aired only on the east coast due to a rain delay in the NLCS baseball game between the Giants and the Cardinals. The episode features the judges choosing the top 16 acts who will move on to the live shows.
Fox has extended primetime in the past for non-sports/non-live programming.
