Westminster High School wears purple for Jessica; buys dinner for 200 investigators
WESTMINSTER, Colo. — The kidnap and murder of Jessica Ridgeway has had a deep impact on the community, especially in the city where she lived.
Students and faculty at Westminster High School wore purple Thursday. It was the 10-year-old’s favorite color. The idea was a way to show support to Jessica’s family and how the community cares about what happened to her.
Additionally, the students raised money to buy investigators dinner. They’re getting 200 meals for all of the people who are working so hard to find Jessica’s killer.
Dan Daru went to Westminster H.S. and shows us what it was like in the video clip.
