Sources: Former Rockies player Eric Young interested in manager job

DENVER — FOX31 Sunday Sports Zone has reported that former Rockies player Eric Young is interested in the Rockies manager position which was vacated last week when Jim Tracy resigned.
Young, one of the most popular Rockies players ever, played for them from 1993 – 1997.
He currently is the first base coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Rockies Bench coach Tom Runnels interviewed for the position last week.
