LOUISVILLE, Colo. -- It wasn’t necessarily a service for Jessica Ridgeway, but for those who went to Sunday’s service at Rock Creek Church in Louisville, the fallen 10-year-old was the first thing on their minds.

“Keep your eyes on Him,” said church member Melissa Nolan. She was one of the people who helped organize the first prayer vigil for Jessica after she disappeared more than a week ago.

The community church used the opportunity to hear from Nolan and her husband, Shane, in an emotional tribute to the little girl.

“A lot of questions come up from people…we don’t always have the answers to those questions,”said Gary Preston, executive pastor at Rock Creek Church.

Meanwhile, back in Jessica’s Westminster neighborhood, her favorite color purple continues to dominate the landscape.

Hundreds of people visited the memorial site in Arvada where Ridgeway’s body was found to reflect and leave flowers, balloons, and teddy bears in her memory.
