Two thrown from motorcycle after fatal crash in Aurora
AURORA, Colo. – A car collided with a motorcycle Saturday night, killing one and leaving the other in serious condition.
Aurora Police said the accident happened at approximately 7:09 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of E. Quincy Avenue and S. Reservoir Road. A green Chevy Malibu and a motorcycle collided, throwing two people from the bike, police said.
Both people were taken to the hospital with significant injuries, where the driver of the motorcycle died. The other passenger remains in serious condition.
Police said the driver of the Chevy stayed at the scene after the crash, and has been cooperative with the ongoing investigation.
