Excited Broncos fans rally in downtown as season ready to start
DENVER — The Broncos don’t play the Steelers until Sunday, but the party began Friday night, as fans packed Denver’s Skyline Park for a Broncos Pep Rally.
Long lines formed for a chance to grab an autograph with Broncos players, past and present, as well as the cheerleaders.
The costumes ranged from a man dressed like “Orange Vader,” to a little boy dressed up in a barrel. One fan, dressed in an orange wig and an orange-and-blue suit, says “I dress up like this every year. You can see me on the Jumbo Tron, like, every game.”
Denver plays Pittsburgh Sunday night at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. It will be Peyton Manning‘s first regular-season game as a Bronco.
