Coach Karl: Miracles are delivered daily at St. Jude

DENVER — He has waged his own battle against cancer, and his son is a cancer survivor, too.

Now, Denver Nuggets head coach George Karl is an avid supporter of St. Jude Children`s Research Hospital.

FOX31 Denver is teaming up with the hospital to raise money to find treatments and cures for cancer, and Deborah Takahara caught up with Coach Karl to talk about his passion.  

Aside from basketball, George Karl is passionate about two things: kids and cancer awareness. Coach Karl serves as one of the St. Jude ambassadors.

“It`s the best children`s hospital in the world,” Karl says. “The miracles they deliver on a daily basis…it`s just a soulful experience.”
