THORNTON, Colo. — A single vehicle crash on I-25 at 144th Ave. killed both people in the vehicle Wednesday afternoon.
Thornton police say the vehicle ran off the right side of the highway and crashed into a concrete drainage ditch.
The crash closed northbound I-25 for a short time at the beginning of the afternoon commute.
The right lane of NB I-25 and the exit ramp to 144th Ave. remained closed during the investigation. Delays were reported.
