Multi-vehicle crash on U.S. 36 kills 1
U.S. Hwy 36 between Lyons and Estes Park in Boulder County, Colo. Aug. 10, 2012
BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — A crash involving a car, an SUV and several motorcycles Friday afternoon on U.S. 36 in Boulder County killed the driver of the car.
It happened at mile marker 12 between Lyons and Estes Park.
An SUV went off the road and down an embankment. The driver of the Honda car which stayed on the road died at the scene.
A passenger in the Honda, the driver of the SUV and at least two motorcycle riders went to area hospitals.
Information about their conditions was not released.
