Suspected temple gunman’s stepmother stunned by news of massacre
DENVER — The stepmother of the man suspected of shooting and killing six people at a Sikh temple near Milwaukee, Wisc. was stunned to learn what authorities say her stepson had done.
Wade Page lived in metro Denver for about 15 years. A police officer shot and killed him Sunday outside the temple in Oak Creek, Wisc. after the shooting spree.
Three people were in critical condition Monday.
Reporter Justin Joseph spoke with Laura Page, Wade Page’s stepmother. She says her heart goes out to the families of all of the shooting victims. She also talks about how she remembers all of the normal things the family did when he was a child.
