UPDATE, 9:13 AM: Aurora Police have issued the all-clear. They are saying they’re not sure what’s in the suitcase, but “it’s harmless.”
AURORA, Colo. — A suspicious package was found outside the Aurora Public Library Thursday morning, forcing bomb squad teams to respond.
The Aurora Police Department reported that an old suitcase was left outside the front entrance to the library near the book depository.
Initial activity at the scene Thursday morning seemed to indicate the threat wasn’t overly serious, but crews said they would take the utmost precautions in clearing any potential danger.
