Colorado Olympian wins medal in swimming

LONDON – Colorado’s own Olympian Missy Franklin has won her first medal in the 2012 Summer Games.

The 17-year-old swimmer from Centennial and the U.S. 4X100 freestyle relay team took the bronze medal.

Australia took the gold.

Boulder’s Taylor Phinney just missed out on a medal in the road race, taking 4^th.
