Robot destroys suspicious-looking pipe in Douglas County. July 23, 2012

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — A suspicious-looking pipe brought the Douglas County Bomb Squad to Rampart Range Rd. late Monday afternoon.

Deputies say someone picked up a the pipe and then called 911.

Investigators weren’t sure if it was a bomb, so they used a robot to destroy it on scene.

There was no word on what was inside the device.
