Food poisoning strikes Denver Rescue Mission
DENVER — Emergency crews responded to the Denver Rescue Mission after numerous people began showing signs of food poisoning.
Details are still unfolding, though a Denver Fire representative tells FOX31 Denver that 340 people were potentially exposed during a 5:00 p.m. turkey dinner service, which was donated.
Three ambulances were on scene and between 12 to 15 people have been transported to the hospital. Upwards of 200 people were showing symptoms.
FOX31 Denver has a crew on the way to the scene.
