GREELEY, Colo. — A woman who has taught Spanish in the Greeley-Evans School District for 20 years has been arrested after a tip to police accused her of sexually assaulting a student two years ago.
Rhonda Eisenberg, 44, told police she had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student while he lived with her in 2010. She also told police she had a child from the relationship.
The boy is 19 now. The Greeley Tribune reports Eisenberg had guardianship over him because his parents lived in Mexico.
Eisenberg is on paid administrative leave from the school district while the case goes through the courts.
Information on the Greeley schools website says she’s been teaching at Northridge High School.
