OneRepublic drummer Eddie Fisher cleared in alleged attack

DENVER — Edward “Eddie” Fisher, drummer for the band OneRepublic, will not be prosecuted for allegedly attacking his girlfriend.

Investigators made the announcement Monday.

Fisher was arrested with a bloody gash on his forehead in May. His girlfriend told police he busted through the front door of her home in Denver during an argument over supposed cheating.

Detectives said there isn’t enough evidence to prosecute Fisher and they want the case to be dismissed.
