Train derails in Adams County

ADAMS COUNTY — A freight train derailed in Adams County Friday morning but caused no injuries.

According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, the train derailed at 2159 East 58th Avenue before 11:30 a.m. The scene was cleared shortly thereafter and the Denver Rock Island Railroad took over operations.
