GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — A fire that was sparked by lightning 10 miles northeast of Grand Junction Thursday is growing rapidly and threatening structures.
The fire was estimated at 700 acres late Thursday night after starting around midnight. Seven structures are reportedly threatened with 95 firefighters battling the blaze. Three helicopters and an air tanker are also working the fire.
