Denver beer company devotes brew to Bryce Harper

DENVER — A new Canadian lager from the Denver Beer Co. pays homage to Bryce Harper of the Washington Nationals.

The beer gets its name from a now-infamous retort Harper made to a reporter after what he felt was a silly inquiry about whether or not he would enjoy a celebratory beer after a win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

“That’s a clown question, bro,” Harper said.

The Rockies beat Harper’s Nationals in Denver 4-2 on Monday.
