Mom catches kidnapping suspect fleeing with her son

SHERIDAN, Colo. – Police are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with an attempted abduction that occurred in the 4300 block of South Lowell Boulevard around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.

 “The victim’s mother reported that she observed a female suspect carrying her two-year-old son towards a white van that was parked on South Lowell Boulevard,” Sheridan Chief of Police Mark Campbell said. “The mother yelled at the suspect who dropped the child and ran to the van.”

Campbell says the van fled northbound where it ran the red light at Lowell and Quincy. The van was last seen westbound on West Quincy Avenue.

Female suspect description:

Asian female, thirty years of age, 5″5′, 120 lbs,  dark shoulder length hair

Male suspect description (driver of the van):

Black male, unknown age or description

Van description:

Older panel van, white in color, two rear doors with windows, possible temporary plate in one of the rear windows, rust on bottom of the van doors.
