Tornado touches down in Adams County
A large storm cell moved through metro Denver Friday afternoon, spawning a weak tornado in Adams County.
The tornado touched down in an open field a mile north of Bennett at about 3:06 p.m. It was on the ground for approximately ten minutes, according to the National Weather Service.
No damage or injuries were reported.
Other areas south and east of Denver received rain and hail.
