DENVER – The Salvation Army announced Wednesday that Albertson’s Market stores are making a $5,000 donation to the organization for the much needed disaster relief needed in the High Park Fire.

Albertson’s stores throughout Colorado are also collecting monetary donations that can be added to customer’s grocery receipt. Customers can donate $1, $3, or $5 for the rest of the month to support the Salvation Army’s ongoing relief efforts.

The Salvation Army is serving more than 300 meals a day at the evacuee shelter.

Those who would like to donate directly to The Salvation Army for High Park Fire relief efforts can do so here.
