DENVER — Denver Police vice officers arrested 35 people during the last week on prostitution related charges.

“The Denver Police Department’s Vice Unit conducted two Reverse Prostitution Operations, ‘John Stings,’ which resulted in the arrest of 29 individuals for Soliciting for Prostitution and/or Agreeing to an Act of Prostitution and the seizure of 23 vehicles,” says Denver Police spokesman John White.

Vice officers also say they conducted operations that resulted in the arrest of six prostitutes.

White says police received complaints about prostitution activities in areas of north and west Denver, where the arrests took place.
