FORT COLLINS, Colo. — It’s hardly American Idol, but the dream is the same for many of the people inside the Fort Collins Hilton—to make it big.

It’s the “Actors, Models & Talent for Christ” or A.M.T.C audition.  About 60 hopefuls have shown up for their chance to shine.

One of them is 4-year-old Scarlett Nelson, who is at the audition wither mother from Loveland.

“To give her an opportunity to maybe get some modeling experience,” says Sarah Nelson, who cites the Christian background of the organization as to why her family is here.

If the contestants are called back they are one step closer to professional training, but it will cost between $3,895- $4,995.

The Denver Better Business Bureau says this is the time of year when “talent searches” heat up.  Their advice:  research the company and read the fine print.
