Speeding car crashes into Denver home

DENVER – A Denver family had a close call Saturday when a speeding car lost control and crashed into their house.

It happened this afternoon at 36th and Gaylord.

Police say the car was traveling southbound—and over the speed limit—when it veered off the road.

The car finally stopped when in crashed into the front porch of the house, but not before it ran over a fence and tore up the front lawn of a neighboring home.
