LOS ANGELES – The Denver Nuggets came up short in their bid to upset the Lakers on their home court in Game 7 of the Western Conference Playoffs, falling 96 to 87 Saturday night at Staples Center.

Denver erased a 16 point deficit in the 3rd quarter and actually led the Lakers by four points, only to see Los Angeles pull away in the game’s final minutes.

Ty Lawson and Al Harrington led the Nuggets with 24 points each. But for the most part, Denver’s offense-plagued by poor shooting- was dreadful throughout the game.

Danilo Gallinari, Andre Miller and Timofey Mozgoz combined for just 8 points. READ MORE AT ESPN.COM>>>
