EVANS, Colo. – Two men who were victims of a home invasion Friday night have been arrested for smoking marijuana with two juveniles at the time of the robbery.

According to police, three suspects knocked at the front door of the residence where the four people were allegedly smoking pot.

The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m.

“After the door was answered, one male suspect pointed a gun at one of the residents and said, ‘give me all the money and your pot—we’re going to rob you,’” according to a statement released by Evans Police spokesman Michael Yates.

The three suspects then entered the home and ordered the four victims to sit down.

“After a short time, the three suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction after taking an undisclosed amount of money, an undisclosed amount of marijuana and several electronic devices,” Yates said.

During the investigation, police learned the two adult victims, identified as Zacory White and Mark Scott, both 21, had been smoking marijuana with two unidentified minors.

White and Scott were arrested for contributing to the delinquency of minors, according to Yates.

Police are searching for three Hispanic male suspects wanted in connection with the home invasion robbery.
