Gunman, driver still at-large from Aurora shooting
AURORA, Colo. – Aurora Police continue to search for at least two suspects in a car-to-car shooting Thursday night that wounded a teenage girl.
The shooting occurred at about 8:20 p.m. on Peoria Street just south of Del Mar Park.
The 16-year-old victim was grazed by one of the bullets and was hospitalized with a non-life threatening wound. Two passengers in her car were not hurt.
“We don’t know how this started…if it was a road rage incident, if they even know each other,” said Aurora Police spokeswoman Cassidee Carlson.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-colored Toyota Camry. Anyone with information is asked to call Aurora Police.
