Nuggets pound Lakers 113-96; Game 7 Saturday in LA

DENVER – Facing elimination for the second game in a row, the Denver Nuggets turned in a stellar performance at Pepsi Center Thursday evening, beating the Los Angeles Lakers 113-96 to force a Game 7 in the playoff series.

Nuggets guard Ty Lawson led the court with 32 points while Lakers star Kobe Bryant, who was slowed by illness, scored 31.
