ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. -- Wildlife officials successfully tranquilized a bear that was spotted wandering around an Adams County neighborhood Monday morning.

The bear was first reported near 84th and Pecos at around 7 a.m.

SKYFOX images showed the bear, weighing possibly 300 pounds, resting in a backyard 30 minutes later.

After sitting for a few moments, the bear jumped the fence and back onto the street.

The bear was eventually tranquillized in another yard and placed into a cage.
