King Soopers, Safeway caught selling liquor to minor

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — Sheriff’s deputies conducting a sting operation caught two major grocery stores selling liquor to someone who was underage.

Clerks at a King Soopers store and a Safeway store sold the liquor as undercover officers watched.

FOX31 Denver had a crew there as well.

The two big stores were the only two out of 16 businesses checked that were caught in the sting.
