Kids battling diabetes get chance to tackle a different challenge

DENVER -- Type 1 diabetes is on the rise in children 14 and younger, and doctors aren't sure why.

But they are looking into finding out, so they can do something to turn around the trend in a disease that can be deadly.

Anyone with diabetes knows how hard it is to control on a daily basis... especially for kids who just "want to be kids."

Libby Weaver's video clip highlights a program where kids fighting diabetes get a chance to do something fun on the slopes of Breckenridge.
