CORVALLIS, Ore. — A 20-year-old student from Littleton, Colo. was found dead inside the Alpha Chi Omega sorority house at Oregon State University Monday.

Corvallis, Ore. Police identify the woman as Lauren snow. Investigators say there is no indication of foul play in her death.

A 911 call came to police from the sorority Monday afternoon. Officers say Snow appears to have died sometime during the weekend.

The national office of Alpha Chi Omega says Snow’s sorority sisters found her.

Police say the death investigation could take several days. An adult at the house called the death a “horrible accident,” according to a report by FOX 12 Oregon.

Oregon State University officials say Snow was a sophomore studying psychology.

“Circumstances such as this are very sad. She was very involved in her sorority,” OSU spokesman Steve Clark said.

“This was quite a shock. For family and friends, and members of the sorority, condolences or support is what we would ask at this very sad time,” Clark said.
