Shooting victim walks into hospital 8 hours later
DENVER – An unidentified man suffering from a gunshot wound walked into Denver Health around 2 p.m. Saturday, eight hours after the reported shooting.
Denver police say they responded to a “shots fired” call around 6 a.m. in the area of Colfax and Valencia. When officers arrived they found what appeared to be nothing—no victim, no shooter, no scene.
Eight hours later the victim walked into the hospital and said he had been shot at Colfax and Valencia.
Police returned to the crime scene Saturday afternoon, though they have not released any information related to their investigation.
The victim remains in unknown condition.
