Funnel cloud seen over east Denver
DENVER – A possible funnel cloud was spotted over east Denver Wednesday afternoon as a severe storm cell moved though the area, prompting a Tornado Warning.
The rotation was captured on video in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood near 38th & Tower Road.
The National Weather Service could not confirm if the funnel cloud ever touched down as a tornado.
Many parts of the metro area received heavy rain and/or hail from the same storm.
A TORNADO WATCH was in effect in southeast Colorado throughout much of the afternoon and early evening.
Remember to seek shelter in a sturdy building if conditions look threatening.
