RTD offering RockiesRide bus service
Denver – The Regional Transportation District offers RockiesRide to all weekend games and the following weekday games: Monday, April 9,, Monday, May 28 and annual fireworks games on Friday, June 29, and Saturday, June 30.
RockiesRide express bus service will get fans to Coors Field 30-60 minutes before the first pitch.
RockiesRide is RTD’s direct bus service to and from Coors Field from many Park-n-Ride locations in the metro area and Boulder High School. Parking is not allowed at Boulder High School unless a school attendant is on duty collecting parking fees. For RockiesRide pick-up locations and fares, click here.
RockiesRide one-way fares range from $4.00 to $5.00, depending on trip origination. Passengers pay cash as they board. Special Service (SS), Free Ride Coupons, passes, tickets, transfers, or other coupons are not accepted. Children five years of age or younger ride free with a fare-paying adult.
Every RockiesRide bus is designated with the letter “R” (e.g. 5R) on the destination sign on the front of each bus. Buses depart from designated locations 60 to 115 minutes before game time, depending on trip distance, and arrive 30 to 60 minutes before first pitch at the Coors Field parking lot on 22nd/Blake.
Upon arrival at the stadium, the bus driver will announce the route’s parking row, making it easy to locate the bus for the return trip home. After the game, go to the parking lot at 22nd/Blake, locate the assigned parking row number for your RockiesRide route and hop on board. RockiesRide buses depart as they fill up, with the last bus leaving 45 minutes after the game ends. Excluding rain delays, buses will not leave Coors Field before the seventh inning.
Passengers can take the C or E lines to Denver Union Station or the D, F, or H lines to the 16th/California and 16th/Stout light rail station. Regular light rail fares apply. Then jump on the FREE MallRide to Market Street Station and walk the four blocks to Coors Field.
