Warm, windy weather raises fire danger for Friday

DENVER — The warm weather has returned and so has the threat for wildfires.

Friday will be another sunny and warm day with highs again in the 70s in Denver. But, it will become windy.

So, there is a FIRE WEATHER WARNING in place for northeast Colorado due to the wind, warm temps and low humidity. It’ll turn cooler on Saturday with less wind. And, then warm again on Easter Sunday with highs back in the 70s.
