Capitol rally supports kids who faced child abuse
People gather on the steps of the State Capitol for a variety of issues and reasons. Whatever it is, they want to be heard.
And there is probably no message more important than the one that happened Wednesday.
It was a rally to kick-off Child Abuse Prevention Week. They’re fighting for Colorado’s kids whose lives have turned around thanks to caring people who made the simple choice of getting involved and taking action.
They’re CASA volunteers … Court Appointed Special Advocates. Their job is to look out for children who have faced child abuse, but are coming out of it.
