DENVER – The last blast from an early April storm moved out of Colorado Wednesday morning, leaving behind clear skies and warmer temperatures.

“(Clouds) will taper off throughout the morning, clearing today with highs near 60 in the Metro area,” says Meteorologist Jennifer Broome.

Despite the warm-up, several schools including Kiowa C-2 and those in the Arriba-Flagler School District, closed for the day due to slick roads from Tuesday’s storm.

A dry cold front will sweep through Friday night for a slightly cooler weekend.

For Easter weekend, the weather looks great with highs Saturday and Sunday in the low 60s.
