One person killed in crash in Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, Colo. — A head-on crash killed one person in Lakewood Thursday afternoon.

Police say a Dodge Neon going northbound on Wadsworth Blvd. crossed into the southbound lanes and crashed into a Dodge Nitro near W. 23rd Ave.

The passenger in the Neon died at St. Anthony hospital according to investigators. Lakewood Police spokesman Steve Davis says he was a man in his early 20s.

Each car had two people in it. All of them went to the hospital, but the other three did not appear to have any serious injuries.
