High school students given free prom dresses in Commerce City

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Teenagers worried about the cost of prom got some welcome relief Saturday.

The annual Prom Dress Exchange held at Dick’s Sporting Good Park helped students find dresses and suits free of charge.

The event was open to all high school students in Colorado.

A $10 per outfit donation was suggested to help support in the event.
