Man wearing fake beard robs Boulder bank

BOULDER, Colo. – Boulder Police are looking for a man who robbed the Chase bank branch at 603 S. Broadway Wednesday morning.

The robbery occurred shortly after 11 a.m. when, according to police, the man walked up to a teller and demanded cash.

He did not display a weapon.

“After receiving money from the teller, the suspect left the lobby and walked southbound from the bank,” said Boulder Police spokeswoman Kim Kobel. “While walking, he was seen removing his beanie cap, the gray sweatshirt and a fake beard.”

The suspect is described as a white male, 40-50 years old, 5’10” to 5’11” in height, medium weight and short, dark hair.
